Lotto Ticket Sales Down
Hi All
I found the below of Richard K. Llyods UK Lottery result site
http://lottery.merseyworld.com

Sunday 27th October 2013
Saturday's main Lotto and Thunderball full results are now available. The number of main Lotto tickets purchased fell to a record low again (below 18m for the first time for a Saturday draw). A depressing stat is that the last 11 consecutive main Lotto draws have seen the number of tickets bought drop for that day's draw.

This is what I think about Lotto

The only people who have lost are the public
who have had to stop playing due the 100% price increase.
me for one, even the big news paper's have sold the British public out
by saying or doing nothing, what makes me mad is the papers publish
thing's about the cost of gas going up, but if you look
at the extra money it's going to cost some UK Lotto players
it will work out double or treble the cost of the extra gas hike a year.
Do the maths, gas hike will cost an extra

yep i will go along with that, hopefully sooner or later someone at camelot will sit up and take notice about the drop in sales, hopefully if more and more people stop playing then they will have to do something...but not holding my breath

RE: Lotto Ticket Sales Down
Worse than that, did you read how they promised a 6.2 million pound rollover jackpot on draw 1860 but later reneged on that, reducing it to 4.8 million? The winners sharing that were furious, especially as one of the three winners was a syndicate, thus reducing their share. Camelot diverted about a million of the rollover money into the raffle fund, which they are allowed to do under the new rules.

The number of tickets bought for a Wednesday main Lotto draw again hit a record low, making it 12 consecutive main Lotto draws where the number of tickets purchased has fallen for that day's draw.

Because after a change in the rules, Camelot can now cream off some of the rollover money and use it to pay for extra raffle prizes. For each level of rollover, the number of raffle prizes goes up by another 50. This means they take an extra million pounds of rollover money from the fund to pay for another 50 x
