Repeat analysis

Well for the first time in about a year pretty much all of the "lines predicted to contain a repeat number" ( 25 of them ) actually on draw 1542 did contain at least one repeated number.



For example I had a skip of 11 (meaning from draw 1531 5,10,12,17,28,30( 47) as it turned out 10 was correct.

I had a skip of 38, draw 1504 ...01 04 16 37 47 49 (27) and 16 was correct. The red ones in the table are correct main balls and the the maroon are bonuses.
After counting up the predicted possibles I ended up with




Which listed my best predictions left to right in priority order.

I had match 5 plus the bonus trapped in 26 numbers (left to right) which is far better than chance alone.

Unfortunately I didn't actually use the bottom 6 results (the ones in grey) as this varies by personal choice. If I had, the result would have been even better. Also number 26 wasn't in any of the lines I thought would repeat, placing it at the right hand end in the elimination list !

I probably won't get as close as this every week, but I thought i'd mention that even if my pick ones and fours don't often score, this sometimes does. In case you were wondering, my pick four doesn't come from this version of the list, I reduce the number of lines in the table taken into account until I get a clear winner (pick one) and 3 clear runners up (to make a pick four) and this changes the order of the top 4 so I got 24,34,35,37 as my top four with less lines actually counted in.
