Yes, I agree with Stig, its not worth it. Forums are oK if they are easy to maintain and run but for some reason that server and our forum has been targetted and hence shut down.

It was never going to be a mainstream forum, we only managed to keep a small band of loyal contributors, so perhaps it had had its day. Stig was weary of the hassle and rememeber he was paying annually for the for the hosting and was getting nothing back. We had privately decided that if nothing improved then the forum would regrettably have to close in November anyway.

I would like to thank Stig particuarly for putting up with all this over the past 20 months , now he can go walking without being pestered by me.

And you Val, what would we have done without your loyalty over all these years, now you are free not to have to look at a forum every day, thanks for being a great moderator.

Len, what can I say - you've been a good mate over the years and diligently and promptly cared for the hotpicks thread despite having your own forum to care for. Thank you, thank you all.

Now I'm free to move on and decide whether or not to spend my time looking into other peoples lottery questions. At my time of life my spare time for this is dwindling as family commitments take me away from my PC more frequently. Being an admin was too time consuming to be honest.

You'll see me around from time to time, and theres always this forum which of course I'll look in at and most of you know my e-mail address, so its not goodbye, its just a change.
