Well the trend of lotto sales appears to continue steadily downwards.
![]() Draw 1856 was when the price doubled (green line). The graph covers the 2 years from August 2012 to August 2014. You will notice that:- Saturday sales today are typically 15 million tickets, whereas 2 years ago they were 30 million. Just before the price change, Saturday sales were typically26 million tickets. Today sales are 57% of the pre price rise value. Wednesday sales are now just inder 8 million tickets, they were typically 16 million 2 years ago, so they have halved in that time. Just before the price change, Wednesday sales were typically 14 million, today at 7.7 million they are 55% of the pre price rise. It looks like the income from sales at |
