Please explain where you are getting the figures of 8 million etc from. How are you calculating this?

No, Im far from new to the lotto. Ive been posting in Lotto forums since the UK lotto started in1994. I used to run a lottery website which gave advice on lottery statistics and probabilities. Im an old man now, so just do a bit here and there to keep my mind active.

I just wanted you to establish your credentials as a reliable lotto analyst since you just turn up and post lists of doubles and triples without mentioning where you are getting them from and expect people to believe you. They could be random numbers for all people know.

I do agree with a couple of your calculations for lotto entries eliminated, but disagree with a couple too.

I'm using in Excel to calculate the number of appearances of each specific named pick 2 in a 6/59 lottery as =COMBIN(6,2)*COMBIN(59,6)/COMBIN(59,2) = 395,010 appearances in the whole lotto. Multiplying your number of BAD pairs by this gives me the number of lotto lines of 6 eliminated for the bad pairs in that prediction.

I'm using in Excel to calculate the number of appearances of each specific pick 3 in a 6/59 lottery as =COMBIN(6,3)*COMBIN(59,6)/COMBIN(59,3) = 27720 apearances in the whole lotto. Multiplying your number of BAD triples gives me the number of lotto lines of 6 eliminated for the bad triples in that prediction.
Adding the two gives the total lines eliminated.

For the last 4 postings (most recent at the top) I get:-

6,417,180

So I agree with your first 2 posts but differ for the last 2. I just thought you would be more forthcoming and discuss what you are doing rather than just being cryptic and posting lists of numbers.

If you are looking at my numbers you probably noticed that i switched from exact number like "6,056,820" to more like rounded "6,000,000"
also my sign have changed from "=" equal to "~=" more like estimate
Because i did noticed a flaw in my (yours) math
If you take for example my first pair 6, 34 it indeed have 395,010 combinations of 6
but if you add 2nd pair 6, 57 it share some of combinations from previous pair for example 1, 2, 3, 6, 34, 57
If you will be really interested in exact number of possible combinations of 6s from my combinations of 2s and 3s
I could write a program to do so but it will take few hours for calculate this and more time to write it so that is why I am not bothering with it right now
As i said in my posts I have also comb of 4s, 5s and 6s
So what I am showing to you guys is half of the story

I am still new to putting my predictions on the internet
I am doing this for a month or so
Started on Twitter little bit earlier than here realized that i can't put so many lines/numbers in one post
So I am still evolving and searching bigger audience
To let them know about combinations to avoid on the next draw so they don't lose money unnecessarily

You are so focused on my ending sum but did you check my combinations with actual draw ?
Did i make a mistake there ?

How many more post do I need to make so you will take my numbers seriously ?

I am not telling you my process
It is based on statistics
But I have a program which is calculating most part for me right now

Yes I am checking your predictions and also checking equal numbers of 'random' predictions as a control. If you are a good analyst you will know that you need to make these comparisons for an extended period of many draws at least 40 to begin to reach a conclusion.

What I am also aware of and I expect you to be too are the theoretical odds of your lists failing to match with the draw you predict.
With pick 3 odds of 1626 to 1 against each triple you post, even when you post 200 'bad' triples the odds are still 8 to 1 against one of them matching with the draw. They are very much in your favour even if you posted random numbers, making your list look good.

Same for the pairs at odds of 115 to 1 for a single pair to match with the draw. When you post 10 its still 11 to 1 against any of your pairs being in the draw, again in your favour. These factors need to be borne in mind when asessing how useful your system is.
