It's very strange, if we was beginning a very important strategy, someone hack the site, it's the same thing like Frank's site!

Just so you all know it was my hosts server that was hacked
not this forum thank goodness.

But isn't that effectively the same thing Len ? When you have admin access to a forum , you have access to the server and vice versa , surely ? Thats what heppenned to Ourlotto forum, the server was hacked, and that gave them forum access.

If the server is subject of an attack it's the worst possibility.

Lot of todays webhosters for contract has to do periodicaly backup
of the hosted sites and in case a single site is under attack ,the hoster can
even help to ricognise or to map the hacker and to restore the damages.

If you Len ,have an indipendent option of backup your site,so maybe
doing let say ones monthly is wisely spent time.
