probable the story has just resurfaced because a letter
is to be sold at auction.
Thanks for the link ,I like reading about lotteries and I had a very pleasant leture
There is a fact to mention,the very birth place of the Italian Lotto
is Venice ,in that reign started a kind of lottery draws about 1370.
The draws was proccessed by involvment of the most beautifull yang
local girls and the numbers was if I remember less than 40.

One after one the italic states started running simmilar lottery draws and
wath the It.Lotto is today is considered it is from 1839 with only 3 exseptions- 3 draws didn't take place during the second World War due to
a bomb attacs.
