Probably be something similar to the time he pretended to predict the horse race result!
He's very good at obtaining publicity for his shows.
I saw him live on stage on his last tour - a very disappointing performance.
A comment on the Daily Mail blog says it all:
"Have you ever heard of a lottery winning fortune teller? What does this tell you?"

not sure how hes going to do this, i can only assume he will be using hundreds of people and only picks the people with the right numbers to show....we'll see

Given that he's only got 5 minutes to do it, he may have done something beforehand as Val says and then say he's choosen the numbers -without revealing them until after the draw, perhaps putting them in an envelope. Then he'll switch the numbers he had 'chosen' for the real result during the show.
Or use a direct transmission (non digital TV broadcast ) to get the numbers 2 seconds before digital viewers get them with satellite/ transmission delay built in.

Derren Brown will reveal how he did the trick on Friday!
It will certainly boost the viewing figures for Channel Four and guarantee him another series.

I noticed that he didn't show the numbers in the order they were drawn but waited until they had been put into numerical order.
I am assured by a magician that his claim that he doesn't use stooges or camera tricks is all part of the illusion.
The cameraman whose camera was fixed on the stand with the alleged predicted numbers would also know how it was done.
I doubt if he will fully reveal how the trick was done - it's simply a gimmick to get ratings for his Friday show.
His claim that he was banned from buying a ticket is palpable nonsense.
